LP Leatherworks was founded in 2019 by Les Pearson, a 4th generation Ironworker who has been in the trade since 2008.

In late 2017, Les walked into a local leather supply store to patch his boots. He grabbed what he needed, watched a few how-to videos, and got to work. What started as a simple repair quickly turned into something more. He found a passion in working with leather — and realized his Ironworker Brothers and Sisters could benefit from gear designed by someone who actually understands the job.

So he went all in.

Every piece Les designs is built on three priorities: Functionality. Safety. Quality. The look comes after the function is dialed in — not before.

Today, LP Leatherworks creates everything from trade gear to custom leather goods and meaningful gifts. While the product line has grown, the Ironworker family remains the priority.

This isn’t mass production. It’s intentional craftsmanship. We stand by the saying “quality over quantity” because the people who use our gear deserve nothing less.
